Do children need tickets?
No. Tickets 12 years of age or younger do not need tickets to enter the event!
Do I need to print my tickets?
No. We can scan the barcode directly from your phone.
Can my group arrive at different times?
Yes, but be sure to send a unique ticket to each member of your group arriving separately.
Can I leave and re-enter the festival?
Yes, once you have obtained your festival bracelet you may exit and re-enter the festival.
What payment methods are accepted?
Latin Sparks Festival is mostly cashless. Bars and door tickets can be purchased with debit or credit cards. Food vendors can be purchased with cash or with debit and credit.
Can I refund my ticket?
No, tickets are non-refundable; however, you can transfer them to a friend.

Festival Experience
What is the Latin Sparks Festival?
Latin Sparks Festival is a one-night event that brings the fire and flavour of Latin America to Canada. The annual festival features DJs, Live bands, dance performances, a variety of dance lessons, outdoor bars, authentic Latin street food and a giant outdoor party in the open-air.

The Ottawa Festival will take place Saturday, September 7TH at LeBreton Flats.
When is the festival?
The Ottawa Festival takes place Saturday, September 7TH from 3PM to 11PM.
Is the festival family friendly?
Yup! Our event caters to the whole family with plenty of options to entertain every age demographic including live shows, food trucks, dance lessons and more. Children 12 years of age or younger enter free!
Is there an age limit?
The festival is open to all ages. Children 12 years or younger do not require entrance tickets. Please see the ticket details for more information.
What’s the dress code?
Come as you are! There is no dress code, be yourself!
What is your bag policy? What am I allowed to bring into the festival?
Small purses and fanny packs will be allowed into the festival. Backpacks or large bags will not be allowed. No liquids are allowed to enter or leave the festival. You may bring a reusable water bottle, however it must be empty upon entry. There is a free water-refill station as well as bottles of water for sale at the bar.

Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not permitted within the festival grounds.
Do I need to know how to dance?
Do you like music? Have you ever wiggled? Tapped your foot? A “yes” in any case means you’ll do just fine at the Latin Sparks Festival.
Do I have to be Latin or speak Spanish?
Nope! Funny enough, the majority of festival attendees are not Latin. Our festival goers come from all over the globe!
What kind of food will be at the festival?
Tacos, burritos, paella, nachos, paletas, quesadillas....need we say more!?
Will there be any vegan/vegetarian food options?
Yes! There will be a variety of delicious vegan/ vegetarian meals from our food vendors.
What kind of drinks will be at the festival?
Beer, standard bar rail, and signature tequila cocktails.
What if it rains?
The festival runs rain or shine!
Is the festival wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the Latin Sparks Festival is wheelchair accessible. Please note parts of the festival are paved and other sections are grass.
